Resonance Frequency Analysis
This device is used to measure the stability of an implant or abutment. The RFA can be used in the operatory or in the clinic. Leads are attached to the implant or abutment, and linked to a machine that will provide a measurement when recorded. A higher reading generally indicates a more stable implant and abutment. These measurements are gathered and evaluated over time to see an increase or drop in value. A reading can be taken in the clinic at any time to evaluate the status of an implant or abutment.
