Background

Upon completion of her BSc, with a major in Neurosciences, Irene was accepted into the UofA's Speech-Language Pathology program in Rehabilitation Medicine, where she completed her MSc-SLP. Irene first worked with iRSM during her Masters' thesis, investigating the relationships between lingual sensation, function and quality of life after radial forearm free flap reconstruction of the tongue. Irene joined the team in 2007.
