MSc (Biotechnology) received from the University of Queensland, Australia, in 1989
PhD (Medical Sciences) received from the University of Calgary in 1996
Background:
Diana is from London, England. Between BSc and MSc she worked for 2 years for the UK Human Genome Mapping Project Resource Centre. After completing her PhD she completed two post-doctoral positions at the University of Alberta in Analytical Chemistry and in Medical Microbiology and Immunology. After completing a WestLink technology commercialization internship she was Manager of Business Development and Marketing for a public biotechnology company then moved to the Alberta Research Council as Director of Business Development and Marketing in Life Sciences. In 2007 she started at iRSM, combining her scientific background with business acumen.
